For us Southsiders,
I have to throw in Vineyard's Corner @ 6523 centralia rd., chesterfield, va 23832 | 804.796.5552 (Courthouse area) http://vineyardscorne... OFF only...they do weekly tastings. Usually wine, but beer monthly. Small shop, nice folks. If you're in desperate need of microbrew, & care nothing at the moment about ambiance, the Chester Kroger has a respectable selection. Heavy Seas Loose Cannon, e.g., is always there...cold, too! That store has a wine consultant who's also the beer buyer. Very friendly & cooperative lady! Likes her beer, too. I'll have to suggest that she sign up. |

Shame on me for overlooking
Once Upon A Vine 4009 MacArthur Avenue, Richmond - (804) 726-9463 (Northside/Bellevue Area) ASTOUNDING selection...they have EVERYTHING microbrew-wise. (Warning: you have to pass through rows of excellent budget wine to get to the beer. You may blow all of your beer money on that )also @ 2817 Hathaway Road, Richmond - (804) 864-9463 (Southside, Forest Hill Area) I haven't been to that one. www.onceuponavine.us |

I like Rare Old Times at Patterson and Pump. Its an authentic Irish Pub, the owners are from Dublin.

Regret to post the demise of Vineyard's Corner.
Got quite a few excellent microbrews there over the years. |
